Chinese new year is back once again and this year must be really great..in fact it is the most anticipated occasion every year. I am especially grateful to my boss who treated our whole department for a reunion lunch at a chinese restaurant on the eve of eve...we had something like a 7 course meal with yusheng, steamed fish , scallop, coffee pork ribs, so on...must be very generous on her part.
After lunch I took a half day off..yeah it was that easy just by asking my boss and not like in army where we had to bark like a dog or worked our assess to get a off day. Next up, fireworks at esplanade! Went out with eric, yux and jy to catch the 5 min display and also the line-up of programmes and activities at the esplanade park...lots of pple over there and the whole stretch of bench in front of esplanade was bombarded with ppl ready to catch the display digitally.
May this year of Rat mark a refreshing start for everyone as it is the beginning of the chinese zodiac cycle.
