Letter to SPH

Just a day before our transport minister unveiled plans last friday to bring about an overhaul to our public transport system, I wrote my first ever letter to SPH complaining to them about my fustration with the SBS bus i took to pasir ris mrt. That cost me to miss my ever-on-time company shuttle bus that takes me to UPS.
Surprisingly I received a call on Sunday from SPH and my small and edited article was published on Monday! Maybe my letter rang a bell for LTA to take some actions. I think our transport infrastructure seriously needs a revamp if we are to remain as world-class. In Hong Kong, I learnt that the waiting time for their MRT is always below 5 mins and that is something we need to achieve too.
I still have in my mind, a whole load of suggestions to improve our transport system...maybe LTA can grant me their scholarship and groom me up haha. I will make sure no more long waiting times and value-for-service fares!
